The Flying site

NADMAS. enjoys the use of two flying sites. Stanmore Farm, north of Chieveley approximately 5 minutes from the Junction of the A34 / M4 is the primary site, leased and controlled directly by us.

We operate at this site under a planning consent which does place limitations on flying times and aircraft types etc. full details of these restrictions are published in the club rule book.

We also enjoy access to and use of an additional site at Membury, courtesy of the Lambourne Model Flying Group, with whom we have a reciprocal flying arrangement, which allows their members to use Stanmore should they wish.

Stanmore Farm - is the primary flying site for NADMAS. it is a well located and maintained grass area set aside in a field well clear of obstacles or buildings, with a very pleasant outlook in all  directions.

From the North - A34, Exit the A34 Southbound at the Exit "Chieveley / Beedon". As you pass under the A34 and head up the hill into a 30MPH limit, take the first Right, Stanmore Farm is approximately 1 1/2 Miles on the right.

From the South / East / West - A34 / M4, Exit at the A34 / M4 Junction 13, and head NORTH, staying in the LEFT hand lane as you come off the roundabout, enter the slip road exit for Chieveley / Hermitage. At the T junction at the top of the slip road, turn LEFT then immediately RIGHT, signposted Worlds End / Beedon. After World End, (Coach and Horses pub on Right), continue for approximately half a mile, you will start down a hill back towards the A34, take the next LEFT, signed Stanmore, Stanmore Farm is approximately 1 1/2 Miles on the right.

Flying times for Stanmore are laid down in the planning permission under which we operate, and are as follows:
