NADMAS have enjoyed exclusive use of this former airfield site for some years, however, with effect from 1st January 2006, this site is now under the control of the Lambourne Model Flying Group.

In recognition of the long standing relationship between NADMAS and the site owners, we have been invited to, and entered into a reciprocal arrangement with the LMFG, which will allow NADMAS members to continue to enjoy the use of the site.

Please note, when arriving on site you must keep to the left edges of the asphalt Runways, and ensure you log your visit to the site in the log book which is kept in the green bin by the hanger.

NADMAS members are expected to ensure they familiarise themselves with LMFG procedures and flying layouts as soon as they arrive, before flying, or in advance by checking for the latest details or changes on the LMFG Website.

The general rules and guidelines for the reciprocal arrangement are detailed below;

Fully paid up members of NADMAS shall be entitled to fly at Membury if reciprocal membership is requested at time of renewal

  1. Fully paid up members of LMFG shall be entitled to fly at Stanmore except on     Wednesdays, which is restricted to NADMAS members only.

  2. No more than 8 LMFG members may fly at Stanmore at any one time unless by
prior arrangement or by invitation, e.g. during a social or fly-in event.

  3. No more than 8 NADMAS members may fly at Membury at any one time, unless
by prior arrangement or by invitation, e.g. during a social or fly-in event.

  4. LMFG Members flying at Stanmore shall:

    1. Hold current BMFA, LMA or equivalent insurance

    2. Before being allowed to fly unsupervised, hold an 'A' certificate for the
discipline being flown, or be able to demonstrate an ability to fly at a
safe solo standard to a NADMAS committee member or club instructor. (NADMAS
can arrange for examinations to BMFA 'A' or 'B' for Fixed Wing or Helicopter
      if requested)

    3. Comply without exception the NADMAS rules for flying at Stanmore.

    4. Due to the planning restrictions governing the use of Stanmore,
particular attention should be paid to the 10 minute rule.

  5. NADMAS members flying at Membury shall:

    1. Have requested LMA Membership through the Nadmas Membership Secretary
    2. Hold current BMFA, LMA or equivalent insurance

    3. Before being allowed to fly unsupervised, hold an 'A' certificate for the
discipline being flown, or be able to demonstrate an ability to fly at a
safe solo standard to a LMFG committee member or club instructor.

    4. Comply without exception the LMFG rules for flying at Membury.

  6. NADMAS and LMFG shall ensure copies of club rules are available for
inspection at each flying site, however, it shall be the responsibility of
the individual to ensure that they have read and understood these rules
    before flying at either site.

  7. If any member of either club is found to be flying exclusively at the
others site, then that member should be advised to change their membership
    accordingly.
